Passionfruit

Managed SEO and AEO agency

Passionfruit describes itself as an AI-native managed SEO and AEO agency. It combines its own technology with in-house experts to deliver end-to-end execution, rather than selling a tool your team operates.

What Passionfruit does as a managed service

Passionfruit sells work rather than software. An in-house team plans and carries out SEO and AEO, including content creation and optimisation, and its technology checks more than 100 signals per URL before an expert reviews each change. It also reports real-time tracking across search and AI platforms, though no self-serve product is listed for your own team to log in and operate.

Because it is an agency, the usual tool comparisons do not apply cleanly. There are no published plans, seats, audit limits or rank tracking schedules, and every engagement is priced after an exploratory call and a personalised audit of the verticals you care about. No trial is listed. The trade is direct, day-to-day control of the work in exchange for having specialists do it.

AI answer tracking

Passionfruit says it tracks brands across search and AI platforms in real time, but it does not publish which AI engines, how many prompts or how often results refresh; those are set per engagement. None of the seven major engines, from ChatGPT and Claude to AI Mode and Copilot, can be confirmed from its pages, and with no published price there is no yearly figure to set beside self-serve trackers. The engine list and reporting cadence are worth settling during the first call.

Pros

  • The work is done for you, which suits teams without SEO or content capacity.
  • Starts from an audit of your own situation rather than a generic plan.
  • Combines SEO and AI search execution under one engagement.

Cons

  • No published prices; everything is quoted after a call and audit.
  • No self-serve product or trial is listed.
  • An agency engagement means less direct control than operating a tool yourself.

Recent changes

  • Passionfruit now positions itself as an AI-native managed SEO and AEO agency.

Not the right fit for: Teams that want to operate a tool themselves or need published pricing.

How we researched this page

Every fact about another tool comes from that vendor’s own pages, or from a press report where we say so, listed under Sources with the date we read them. Where a vendor does not describe something, we say so rather than guess.

The cost figures on this page are calculated, not assigned. Our full methodology sets out every rule, what each criterion is worth, and where our evidence runs out.
