Scrunch

AI visibility platform

Scrunch is an AI visibility platform for brands and agencies. It tracks performance for prompts, topics and entities with citations, competitors and rankings, benchmarked by persona, topic and geography, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot on Core, adding Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Meta AI and Grok on Enterprise.

What Scrunch does beyond monitoring

Scrunch pays unusual attention to the crawl side of AI search. Its AI traffic view is a real-time feed of how AI bots move through your site, flagging pages they fail to crawl, and citation analysis shows which sources the engines lean on, with guidance on what to change. Core includes five site audits a month and Enterprise runs full ones. AXP, on Enterprise only, hands AI agents compressed, machine-readable copies of pages while people still see the normal site.

It is not an SEO or writing tool. Keyword research and backlinks are not described, and content generation on Core is basic and marked as coming soon. Core costs $250 a month per brand with five seats, extra seats are $25 a month each or $75 for five, and annual discounts are kept for Enterprise. Sitecore, which acquired Scrunch, has not said whether it will keep selling it as a standalone product.

AI answer tracking

Core tracks 125 prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot, reporting citations, competitors and rankings for each prompt, topic and entity. Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Meta AI and Grok arrive only on Enterprise, which also adds custom personas, unlimited countries, an API and SSO. Agency Core, at $500 a month, doubles the prompts to 250 across three brand workspaces with unlimited seats.

Scrunch does not publish a refresh rate. A year on Core is $3,000, and its trial of 7 days needs a card and becomes a paid plan unless cancelled.

Pros

  • Nine engines on Enterprise, including Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Meta AI and Grok.
  • AXP, on Enterprise, is a distinctive answer to how AI agents read a site, not only how they cite it.
  • Persona and country benchmarks, with custom personas and unlimited countries on Enterprise.

Cons

  • Core tracks four engines; Claude, Gemini and AI Mode need Enterprise.
  • The entry price is $250 a month per brand, and annual discounts are for Enterprise only.
  • Additional seats cost $25 a month each, or $75 a month for five more.
  • The trial needs a credit card and converts to a paid plan unless cancelled.
  • Content generation is basic on Core and marked coming soon; keyword research and backlinks are not described.

Recent changes

  • Scrunch now leads its homepage with AXP beside monitoring and insights, positioning agent-readable pages as a core product.
  • Scrunch now sells Core at $250 a month with 125 prompts and four engines, and Agency Core at $500, with Claude, Gemini and AI Mode moved to Enterprise.
  • Scrunch launched Agent Pages, which deliver an optimised site experience to AI agents.

Not the right fit for: Teams that need Claude or Gemini on a self-serve plan, or want content drafted in the same tool.
