Veritas vs Frase

By Advik Jain, Co-founder & CEO, Optivus Technologies · Published 11 September 2026 · Updated 15 September 2026

Frase and Veritas overlap more than most tools here: both research, draft, score, audit and track AI visibility. Frase has grown into a full content loop with its own CMS. Veritas grew from grounding, drafting from your own documents with each knowledge-based claim cited.

The verdict

For one writer on one domain, Frase is cheaper, better connected and refreshes AI tracking daily. Veritas suits teams whose drafts must cite their own documents, with more users and five engines at its first tracking tier.

Choose Veritas ifOurs

You want drafts cited to your own documents, five engines tracked, and more users included.

Choose Frase if

The cheapest published plan that fits each team, over twelve months, with seat fees and required add-ons. Where no published plan fits, the note says why instead of guessing.

Bars share one scale across the whole table, so cost growth shows as well as rank. A figure far above the rest is marked off scale.

How each figure was worked outPlan, seats and add-ons behind every number

One marketer, one brand

  • Frase: Starter at $49 a month, over twelve months
  • Veritas: Marketing Suite at $315 a month converted from rupees, over twelve months

Team of five, one brand

  • Frase: Professional at $129 a month, 2 extra seats at $29 each, over twelve months
  • Veritas: No published plan tracks 100 prompts; larger volumes are arranged with the vendor.

Agency, three brands

  • Frase: Scale at $299 a month, 5 extra seats at $29 each, over twelve months
  • Veritas: No published plan tracks 300 prompts; larger volumes are arranged with the vendor.

Standard monthly rates, without annual discounts unless a vendor publishes only a yearly price. Taxes, overage and negotiated terms are excluded. Indian rupee figures are converted at 95.2 INR to the US dollar, a rate we maintain by hand and review periodically. It is an approximation, not a live rate, and Veritas bills in rupees.

Side by side, question by question

Research and briefs

For speed from keyword to brief, Frase has the edge.

Edge: Frase

Veritas
Keyword research, keyword gap and SERP analysis feed the brief, and content ideas come from gaps against competitors.
Fraseedge
SEO research that ends in a brief, with topic clusters mapped around each topic. This is where Frase started, and it remains fast.

How drafts are grounded

If claims must be checkable against your material, Veritas is designed for it.

Edge: Veritas

Veritasedge
Drafts come from a knowledge graph of your documents, with a numbered citation on each knowledge-based claim, and untraceable claims are left out.
Frase
An AI agent drafts with your brand in context, with brand voice controls. Its homepage does not describe per-claim citations to your own documents.

Optimising and monitoring pages

Frase is more explicit about catching decay after a page ships.

Edge: Frase

Veritas
A live 0 to 100 content score while writing, a scores library across your content, and site audits graded for Google and AI crawlers.
Fraseedge
Content optimisation for Google, GEO optimisation for AI citation, site audits, and Content Guard, which catches ranking decay on published pages and ships the fix.

AI visibility

Veritas includes all five engines at its first tracking tier.

Edge: Veritas

Veritasedge
ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, all from Content + SEO Premium, re-checked every two weeks.
Frase
ChatGPT and Google AI on Starter, Perplexity on Professional, and Claude and Gemini on the $299 Scale plan.

Price, limits and integrations

Frase is cheaper to start and better connected; Veritas scales with fewer caps.

Even

Veritas
₹12,000, ₹20,000 or ₹30,000 a month excluding GST, with 3, 5 or 10 users included. No article cap; chat conversations are metered. WordPress publishing on Marketing Suite, and no MCP or API.
Frase
$49, $129 or $299 a month with 10, 40 or 100 articles and 1, 3 or 5 seats, extras at $29. Publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix and FraseCMS, with MCP and a CLI.

What would change our verdict

  • Frase publishing how often its AI visibility data refreshes, which is the one criterion we cannot score it on.
  • Frase adding per-claim citation back to documents you supply, which is the substantive difference between the two products.
  • Veritas raising or removing its chat conversation caps, which are a real limit on heavy research use.

Questions people ask

Is Frase or Veritas better for SEO content?

Both do the job. Frase is faster from keyword to brief and better connected to CMSs and AI tools. Veritas is stronger when a draft has to be built from your own documents and checked claim by claim, and when a team needs more seats and volume without article caps.

Does Veritas limit how many articles I can generate?

Not by article. It meters chat conversations: 100, 250 or unlimited a month on Content + SEO Pro, Premium and Marketing Suite respectively. Frase caps articles at 10, 40 and 100 a month on its self-serve plans.

Which tracks more AI engines at the entry tier?

Veritas tracks all five of its engines on Content + SEO Premium. Frase’s Starter tracks ChatGPT and Google AI, adding Perplexity on Professional and Claude and Gemini on Scale.

Does Frase have site audits and backlinks?

Yes. Frase’s homepage lists a Site Audit and a Backlinks tool that finds link gaps and drafts outreach. An earlier version of this page marked backlinks as not listed, which was wrong.

The full reviews

Veritas: full reviewDrafts from your own documents with a citation on every claim, beside the SEO and AI visibility tools that decide what to write.

Veritas

Our productCited content, SEO and AI visibility

Best for: B2B marketing teams of three to ten whose content makes claims a reviewer has to verify, and who want SEO and AI visibility in the same workspace.

Veritas is an AI content and SEO platform built by Optivus Technologies. It organises a company’s own documents into a knowledge graph and drafts marketing content from it, attaching a numbered citation to every knowledge-based claim that opens the passage it came from. Claims it cannot trace to your material are left out rather than filled in.

Around the editor it bundles keyword research and gap analysis, competitor and SERP analysis, a live content score, site audits, backlinks, Google Analytics with Search Console, and AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Plans are priced per workspace in INR with users included.

Pros

  • Research, writing, scoring, audits and AI visibility sit in one workspace instead of three or four tools.
  • Users are included in a flat workspace price, which matters most for teams of three to ten.

AI visibility tracking covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI across its plans, widening as the price rises. It publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity and Wix, and connects to Claude and Cursor through MCP and a CLI.

What each vendor does not publish

Where a figure below is missing, the charts say so rather than estimate it.

Veritas
  • Veritas does not publish security certifications, so this page claims none. Ask us directly if your procurement needs them.
Frase
  • Frase does not say whether “Google AI” on its plans means AI Overviews, AI Mode or both.
  • Frase Starter includes one seat with no published price for more, so it is not costed for teams.

How we researched this page

Every fact about a tool other than Veritas comes from that vendor’s own pricing page, product pages, documentation or announcements. Each one is linked where it appears, with the date we read it.

We build Veritas and use it every day. We have not run paid accounts of every other tool on this page, so we describe what each vendor publishes rather than scores from tests we did not run. Where a capability was not described on a vendor’s pages, the table says exactly that, which is not the same as saying the product lacks it.

G2, Capterra and TrustRadius blocked our automated reads, so any rating shown is the figure the vendor publishes about itself, labelled as such.

Prices and plans change. We re-read every vendor page at least every 90 days and record what changed in the update log below.

The scores and cost figures on this page are calculated, not assigned. Our full methodology sets out every rule, what each criterion is worth, and where our evidence runs out.

Disclosure. Veritas is our product. It appears on this page because it competes in this category, and we have tried to state its limits as plainly as anyone else’s. If anything here is wrong or out of date, write to support@getveritas.io and we will correct it and note the change in the log.
