Writesonic
GEO platformWritesonic began as an AI writer and now presents itself as a generative engine optimisation platform. It tracks AI visibility, ranks opportunities in an Action Center by visibility and citation impact, and uses an AI agent to rewrite pages for GEO with FAQ blocks and comparison tables.
What Writesonic does with the findings
Writesonic’s daily loop starts in the Action Center, which sorts each opportunity by its likely effect on visibility and citations, then passes pages to an agent that rewrites them for AI answers with added FAQ blocks and comparison tables. Its audit is technical but narrow, checking robots.txt, schema, indexing and broken pages as seen through AI bot visits. Off-site, it finds the Reddit threads, YouTube videos and listicles that cite competitors and drafts the outreach to them.
Keyword research is not described and rank tracking covers AI answers only, so it does not replace an SEO suite, though it connects to Google Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio, WordPress, an API and MCP. The tighter limit is scale: billed yearly, Starter at $79 a month has one user and one project, Basic at $199 two users, and Growth at $399 three users across two projects; month to month they cost $99, $249 and $499. Its pages do not describe tying rewritten claims to your own documents.
AI answer tracking
Every self-serve plan, from Starter at $99 a month up to Growth at $499, or $79 to $399 billed yearly, tracks the same three engines: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI are among the ten platforms held back for an Enterprise contract. Writesonic publishes neither a prompt allowance per plan nor a refresh rate, which makes it hard to cost against trackers sold by the prompt. Its free trial asks for no card, so testing it on your own brand costs nothing.
